Here is a test post by Richard.
Look at the video below!
Yuk! It's rather small and blurry. Let's try different export settings in Quicktime Pro.
Ugh! not much better, and the aspect ratio has been messed up. It's stretched vertically. That was "Movie to MPEG4 - Broadband High"
Let's try some different settings:
Okay, this is all a waste of time. Let's try "Export Movie to Quicktime Movie" instead:
Trying via YouTube:
Better quality, but Roger Bannister is still only about 10px high.
I don't like the letterboxing. Trying one more time:
Finally! This one is passable. If you go into fullscreen you can see RB and the flame.
Settings were:
- Use QuickTime Pro to "Export movie to QuickTime movie"
- H.264 compression
- Compression quality: high
- Current frame rate
- Size: 768x576 HD, cropped
- Resulting file is 8.4MB but that uploads to YouTube in reasonable time
- Upload to YouTube "unlisted" then select from with "My YouTube videos" in Blogger
Getting on with some work now.
Blimey, that wasn't at all straightforward!
